Dix in Dahlonega

Dix came over from Ellijay this morning and visited with us here in Dahlonega.  Dix is quite an accomplished “amateur” genealogist who had volumes of family information to share with us.  The exchange of information and stories was interrupted briefly by a very nice BBQ lunch in downtown Dahlonega at the North Georgia BBQ grill.  After Dix left I looked at my watch and found it hard to believe that we had been talking and listening for six hours, the same amount of time we spent with Gwen yesterday.
